Product Discription
Indisputably, aquariums are the best means to keep a source of natural habitat in your homes. Mostly, people don’t realize that it’s very difficult to maintain the fish tank and its inhabitants. However, the frequency of aquarium LED lights is suitable for the growth of marine aquatic animals. In fact, their wavelengths are essential for photosynthesis of plant life in your aquarium.
For those who are not yet familiar with this type of lighting, LED stands for Light Emitting Diode, which is the main component of this fixture. It was initially introduced as supplementary night lighting for fish tanks since light produced by LED bulbs were not that intense to properly illuminate tanks throughout the day. But with the improvement of LED technology, the intensity of the illumination of LED lights sufficiently increased, and LED lighting for aquarium eventually became a popular choice for aquarium light. More and more hobbyists choose LED lighting since most aquarium freshwater plants, corals, and fish thrive with LED illumination.
LED aquarium lighting is most commonly used for nighttime lighting but has recently gained traction as being the main light source. Using an aquarium moon light has many benefits, especially for reef tanks. Moon lights complete the day/night cycle and can be synced with a timer to match the lunar cycle. Doing so can stimulate coral spawning and create great nighttime viewing. In addition to creating a cool shimmering moon light effect, LED lunar lights give you a window into what your nocturnal pets do at night. Using LED lighting as the main light source also has many benefits. 120W LED aquarium light bulbs are extremely energy efficient and last up to 5 years (50,000 hours).
